A textbook on the history of the Khmer Rouge is expected to begin circulating among high schools across the country in the next few days as the Ministry of Education finalises their review of its contents. The book, which was printed with the support of the German embassy, will be the first to provide both students and teachers with an in-depth guide to events under the 1975-79 Democratic Kampuchea government. The first publication - 3,000 copies - will be funded by the Soros Foundation's Open Society.
