Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce has approved the establishment, issuing an “MOC Certificate of Incorporation” dated March 24, 2008 for the “Representative Office of Globe Express Services Ltd”.

Globe’s executive director Georges Mejaes, said that the company believes that Cambodia is the next area of growth after Vietnam, and consequently the region needs to be an integral part of Globe’s global network.

The new office is located in the Toul Kork District of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.
According to the World Bank, Cambodia's growth has averaged 9% annually since 1998, and is the second fastest growing country in Asia (after China) in terms of annual GDP growth.

The new Cambodian office is the latest in series of expansions for Globe Express Services:

The company opened new corporate offices in Beijing last week; three offices in Vietnam and South India, one in Malaysia and four in South India in 2007; one in Tokyo one in Brazil and two in China and Turkey in 2006.
