The Council of Ministers approved last week two Chinese hydroelectric problems that they hope will bring cheaper energy to the province of Koh Kong, on the Thai border.Critics of the measure worry about the impact on the environment brought about the two dams.
The projects, totaling nearly $1 billion in investment, could produce as much as 600 megawatts of electricity.
