The Preah Vihear Temple was historically claimed sovereignty by both Cambodia and Thailand. The International Court of Justice in 1962 ruled it to Cambodia. In July 2008, tensions ran high between the two countries after the ancient Temple was awarded world heritage status by UNESCO. (Xinhua/Zeng Yi)
