Pov was amputee in 1994 while he was a soldier fighting with Khmer Rouge. Cambodia’s genocide tribunal is scheduled to hold its full trial on March 30, 2009, of Kaing Guek Eav alias Duch, over the deaths of an estimated 1.7 million people at the hands of the Khmer Rouge regime more than three decades ago.
