TAKHMAO - Lao Sinath pummeled Long Sophy with knees and elbows in the third round on his way toward earning a decision victory Sunday at TV5 arena. Working in the clinch, Lao Sinath landed half a dozen unanswered knees and a few elbows midway through the third round. Long Sophy battled back and cut Lao Sinath with an elbow near the end of the round, but Lao Sinath's corner stopped the bleeding, and the cut never became a factor. Lao Sinath is schedule to rematch Kao Roomchang next Sunday at TV5. The winner will get a shot at Bheut Kam, who recently returned from a three-month stay in France, where he went undefeated in three fights. The date of the Bheut Kam fight has not yet been announced.
