PHNOM PENH – With quarter of the season already gone, the Phnom Penh Post Fantasy League is really starting to take shape. Mick Wade’s Phnom Penh Villa sits proud atop the table on 590 points in total, ahead of a ravenous 205 other aspiring managers. Gameweek 10 was another ripper, with Andrew Oliver-Smith bagging the weekly bonus of a US$20 phone voucher and T-shirt from our sponsors Cellcard. Andrew’s team Stuck In The Middle (currently 129th place in the league, presumably between some clowns and jokers) scored a solid 78 points, in no small part thanks to the stunning displays of captain Frank Lampard (14 points doubled to 28) and Michael Ballack (11 points) of Chelsea. West Ham’s Carlton Cole also contributed 9 points to Andrew’s total. Saturday 5:30pm is the deadline for the weekend’s squad decisions as usual.
