A South African man, who has spent over two weeks behind bars in Cambodia, has now been granted bail.
André Bester was arrested in the Asian country last month after a jet ski accident in which his friend Paul Hutchins died.
South Africa’s ambassador to Thailand has yet to receive the reasons for his detention and why he was charged.
Bester’s father Jan has told Eyewitness News he is overjoyed his son has been released.
