A charity is looking for construction professionals to help build homes for landmine survivors in Cambodia in November this year. Mines Advisory Group (MAG) is offering adventurous fundraisers the chance to experience world-famous landscapes and have a direct impact on the lives of landmine survivors.
MAG will be taking a team of people to participate in the Community Challenge Cambodia 2010 where, after a few days trekking through the jungle on Kulen Mountain and taking in the ancient site of Ankor Wat, four days will be spent building a house. The house will be for a family in a small village in Siem Reap province, one of the most heavily landmine-contaminated areas of the country.
MAG’s Community Challenge Cambodia 2010 runs between 25th November and 5th December. For a free information pack contact events@maginternational.org or call 0161 236 4311. Registration fee and minimum sponsorship apply.
