Bandar Seri Begawan - Five Brunei table tennis players left for Phnom Penh to participate in the 16th South East Asian Junior Table Tennis Championship in Cambodia yesterday.
Heading the young players was the President of Brunei Amateur Table Tennis Association (BATTA) Hj Md Daud Hj Hitam. Also in the delegation were national coach Wang Gong and his assistant Hj Mohd Hamdi Hj Abd Hamid cum team manager.
Brunei will be participating in two categories. Representing the country in the Under-18 category were Abd Hanif Abdullah, Goh Teck Chin and Lei Jian Yu while Mohd Asyrani Suhardi and Abd Wafi Suhardi will be playing in the Under-15 category. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
