Cambodia and Vietnam are expected to sign a visa-exemption agreement applicable to ordinary passport holders on Prime Minister Hun Sen's visit to Ho Chi Minh City this week. Tourism Minister Thong Khon said he hopes the agreement will boost the number of Vietnamese tourists to Cambodia, adding that visits were up 70 percent from last year. Ho Vandy, president of the Cambodian Association of Travel Agents, welcomed the expected agreement and said it will benefit the locals and private sector.
