DRUNKEN HUSBAND CUTS WIFE WITH KNIFE
So Savoeun, 48, was seriously wounded on Friday after her husband, Sorn Sin, 53, attacked her with a knife in Sorng Khlang village, Taing Krasaing commune, Santuk district, Kampong Thom province. The husband, who, according to neighbours, suspected that his wife was having an affair with their son-in-law, came home drunk, and an argument ensued. Police said he cut her twice, rendered her unconscious and fled.

MAN CONS DRIVER OUT OF MOTORBIKE
Motorbike taxi driver Chhin Vannara, 28, from Prey Veng province, was cheated out of a motorbike on Friday morning at Calmette Hospital in Sreah Chak commune, Daun Penh district, Phnom Penh. The suspect took the motorbike taxi to the hospital and asked the victim to buy some water and to help carry it into the hospital for a sick relative. He then offered to take the motorbike to the hospital's parking lot. When they were inside the building, the suspect gave a false parking ticket to the victim and told him to wait for him. When the suspect didn't return, the victim went to the parking lot to discover that his motorbike had been stolen.

MAN HAS TANTRUM OVER MONEY, PHONE
Kan Neang, 28, was arrested by the police for cursing his parents and destroying household possessions after his parents refused to give him money to buy a motorbike and a cellphone. The event happened at midnight of Friday in their house located in Kalaom Phluk village, Prey Svay commune, Moung Ruessei district, Battambang province. He was arrested after his parents reported him to the police.

TAXI FALLS INTO RIVER, PASSENGERS FAINT
A taxi slipped into the Mekong River on Sunday evening while it was parked on the edge of the bank while waiting at the Neak Leung ferry dock. No one died in the accident, but one man and two women inside the car fainted after being rescued from the river. The driver, who wasn't inside, tried to run after the car, but he was too late. The three victims were identified as Phat Chan, 36; her husband Satt Thoeun, 26, both from Prey Veng province; and Mao Chanthy, 45, from Svay Rieng province.
