Thailand and Cambodia on Friday agreed to solve their joint border problems through peaceful means in a meeting between Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and his Cambodian counterpart Hun Sen.
The two leaders met during Mr Abhisit's official visit to Cambodia.
Mr Abhisit said that, in solving border problems, the two sides agreed to exchange information in meetings at various levels of both military and administrative officials to avoid border conflict.
He said the two countries also agreed that Thailand will transfer two Cambodian prisoners it is holding to Cambodia, which will do likewise with two Thai prisoners being held in Cambodia. The two countries do not have an extradition treaty.
