DRUGS BUST NABS RENTERS, NOT OWNER
Police have arrested six people in a drugs raid but failed to stop the 49-year-old owner of the house from fleeing. The alleged drug users were caught trying to gather their stash after police officers burst into the Phnom Penh rental property on Monday. The operation involved multiple surveillance cameras and netted drugs, video equipment and other drug-related materials. Teuk Thla commune – where the house is located – is notorious for its illicit drug trade, a police officer said.
