Dying Mekong threatens livelihoods

Thailand's government is promising to deal with record-low water levels in the Mekong, a river which supports the livelihoods of about 60 million people in Southeast Asia.
Many along the river blame the problem on China, which has planned eight hydroelectric dams on the upper Mekong, four of which have already been built.
