MUM STANDS BY SON IN FIGHT WITH SINGER
Police in Poipet town say a man and his mother have been arrested after he heckled a village troubadour for singing like “cow dung” before starting a fist fight with the hapless singer. It happened Saturday during a village party. While the singer sang, the man shouted out, ‘Crazy! You don’t sing well. You sing like cow dung!” After the song finished, he rushed towards the man and started fighting him. His mother had his back and joined in on the melee. Police said the fight was a rare event and criticised the man and his mother. If the singer doesn’t sing well, just stop listening, they advised. Police reported that the man was drunk.
