Job type: Volunteer
VSA is seeking a business development adviser to build on current income generating activities and establish a small business that provides training, counselling services and consultancy packages:
Transcultural Psycho-Social Organisation (TPO) is a local NGO registered with the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia with a mission ‘to improve the well-being of Cambodian people with psycho-social and mental health problems, thereby increasing their ability to function effectively within their work, family and community lives.'
TPO Cambodia has long realised that it needs to become more financially sustainable in the long term. It would like a volunteer to assess the potential to establish a new small business to generate additional income from TPO's current training and consultancy services; develop a five year strategy to expand the approved business for TPO, and increase the capacity of TPO's training and counselling staff to implement the business plan.
This is a two year assignment. VSA volunteers receive a living allowance and initial resettlement grants. Accommodation and insurance are provided. Travel arrangements are organised and funded by VSA.
