Sweets to lure tourists

AN exhibition of Khmer cakes and desserts is hoped to spread awareness of traditional sweets among tourists and prepare Cambodia for 2011’s ASEAN Tourist Forum, according to a press release from the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and Phnom Penh City Hall. The event will be held from September 24 to 26 on Diamond Island.

THE Asia Development Bank’s first president has died in Japan at the age of 104.Takeshi Watanabe was elected as head of the development institution at its 1966, the year Cambodia became a member.

Ford Thailand to target customers in ASEAN
