BUNGLED RAID NETS NOTHING ON GAMBLERS
Police bungled a raid on an internet cafe suspected of offering a football gambling service in Siem Reap’s Svay Dangkum commune on Monday. Police said they have observed the hall since it opened, with one officer even going undercover disguised as a gambler. However, they could not find any evidence suggesting that the place was in fact a gambling hall, and instead closed the cafe because it was being run without a legal licence. Police watchdogs said the operation was rushed.
