LOCAL AND THAI COPS DIFFER OVER DEATH
A 48-year-old man from Battambang province was found dead in a bamboo forest across the border in Thai territory on Saturday, officials said. Police speculated that the death was because of “business revenge”. The man may have died after being beaten to death, because his body was found with bruises on his face and neck, the cops said. Thai police have told their Cambodian counterparts that the man died after he was strangled with is own krama.
