Phnom Penh military police chief Ya Kim Y said Sim Ritha, the victim, who owned a bakery in Dangkor district’s Choam Chao commune, was killed on October 15 and his body dumped at the Ministry.
He said a total of seven people had been arrested, with one man primarily charged with murder and robbery, and the remaining six charged with robbery and accomplices to murder.
“The [main] suspect has confessed to shooting the victim in a revenge attack,” he said and added that all seven suspects would be sent to Phnom Penh Municipal Court today for further questioning.
