Frog fare fatal for diner, another not faring well
At least one man died and another became seriously ill after eating frog meat in Kampong Thom province’s Prasat Balang district on Wednesday. Family members said the men had caught the frogs in a nearby field on Wednesday before enjoying them as a snack while drinking wine in the evening. The men began vomiting almost immediately after eating the frog meat, but did not think it was serious and waited a few hours before seeking medical help. Doctors saved one of the men but said they were unable to save the other because they had arrived at the hospital too late.
