KEN GADAFFI
Reigning CPL and Samdech Hun Sen Cup champions Phnom Penh Crown are heading to Thailand today for a couple of friendly matches against Thai Premier league leaders Chonburi FC. According to Crown manager Makara Be, the team is taking time off to prepare for the tough schedule ahead as they look set to consolidate their position in the league following Saturday's 3-1 spanking of National Defense Ministry. The team will play its first match Friday, and then another Sunday before returning to play their next league game against archrivals Naga Corp July 22.
