MOBILE-phone payment service provider WING signed a cooperation agreement with mobile-phone operator Mfone Wednesday allowing its users to make transactions across the company’s network. Mfone, which is operated by Thai-owned Camshin, is the fourth operator to sign up with WING. The system lets Mfone mobile users buy airtime using their WING account, and transfer money to other account holders. Non-account holders can also transfer money by sending a code to a recipient who can then pick up cash at one of 500 WING Cash Xpress outlets in 19 provinces across the Kingdom. WING is a wholly owned subsidiary of ANZ Banking Group.
