THEY GOT GAME, BUT COPS AIN'T PLAYING
Police in Phnom Penh say they have arrested a group of “game-players” caught gambling Sunday in the capital’s Choam Chav commune. Originally, 19 alleged gamblers were arrested and sent to the police station. However, more than half were released after police realised some were just food vendors and servants. Police say they are preparing to send nine of the arrested group to municipal court for punishment.

When the mother couldn’t pay back the full amount, the woman and her husband allegedly seized the daughter, threatening to keep the girl unless the mother paid her debt in full.
