Thailand's Criminal Court on Tuesday granted bail to two opposition Pheu Thai Party MPs Jatuporn Promphan and Karun Hosakul after the two posted one million baht (30,600 U.S. dollars) in cash as guarantee each, the Thai News Agency (TNA) reported.
The Department of Special Investigations (DSI) earlier asked the court to detain the two without bail, however the court disagreed.
The two MPs, who are also the core leaders of the anti- government United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) group, were charged with instigating people to commit act of terrorism in connection with the May 19 rioting and arson attacks.
