via CAAI

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 9 (Bernama) -- With the addition of four new branches, OSK Indochina Bank Limited (OSKIBL) believes it will be able to reach out to serve a wider section of the Cambodian population and businesses, said chief executive officer and country head Lim Loong Seng.

The bank had opened branches in Battambang, Kampong Cham, Preah Sihanouk and Siem Reap.

The branches held their respective soft-openings between September and October, said OSKIBL in a statement Tuesday.

"OSK Indochina Bank is committed to make positive contributions towards the Cambodian economic growth through the provision of financial products and services.

"We do believe this is an opportune time to leverage on the strong business potential and rising demand for banking as the Cambodian economy is expected to grow by about five per cent this year," said chairman Datuk Nik Mohamed Din Nik Yusoff.
