Royal Congratulatory Messages To Cambodia

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send congratulatory messages to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Mr Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia as well as to the Government and people of the Kingdom of Cambodia on the occasion of the anniversary of their 57th National Day.

In the message to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, His Majesty greatly appreciated the warm and friendly relations shared between the two countries and looked forward to further developing these good relations in years to come.

Meanwhile, in His Majesty's message to Mr Samdech Hun Sen, the Cambodian Prime Minister, His Majesty conveyed his pleasure in working with Mr Hun Sen over the past years and looked forward to continuing to develop further the existing friendship and ties shared between the two countries both bilaterally and as partners in Asean.

In ending the message to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, His Majesty extended his best wishes for the continued good health and happiness as well as the prosperity of the people of Cambodia.

His Majesty also extended his best wishes to Mr Samdech Hun Sen and his family.

Meanwhile, in a separate congratulatory message, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade sent his warmest respects to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, and congratulated Mr Hor Namhong, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, and the Government and people of the Kingdom of Cambodia on their 57th Independence Day.

HRH expressed great pleasure in working with Mr Hor Namhong over the past years, and also expressed great appreciation for Cambodia's warm friendship and close cooperation.
