Austria’s Moser takes three sets to advance

Second seeded Nikolaus Moser of Austria needed threee sets to down Japan’s Arata Onozowa yesterday in the ITF Men’s Futures event at the National Training Centre. After losing the first set, the Austrian rallied back to win 4-6, 7-5, 7-5 in the longest match of the round so far. In the day’s other singles matches, Elbert Sie of Indonesia beat Japan’s Koki Matsunaga 7-6, 6-3, Weerapat Doakmaiklee of Thailand rolled over Estonia’s Vladmir Ivanov 6-3, 6-3, Rohan Gajjar of India overcame compatriot Vivek Shokeen 7-6, 6-2, Dae-Soung Oh of Korea hammered Japan’s Kento Takeuchi 6-2, 6-2, and Kirati Siributwong of Thailand defeated India’s Ashutosh Singh 7-5, 6-4.
