Phnom Penh: Sam El Nasa struck twice as Cambodia defeated Macau 3-1 at the National Olympic Stadium on Wednesday in the first leg of their AFC Challenge Cup 2012 pre-qualifying playoff.
The Preah Khan Reach striker broke the deadlock three minutes into the second-half before doubling the home side’s advantage seven minutes later with his second of the game.
Khuon Laboravy made it 3-0 just before the hour-mark but Cambodia couldn’t add to their tally and it was Macau that got on the score-sheet with Leong Ka Hang grabbing a consolation goal for the former Portuguese colony.
The second leg takes place in Macau on Wednesday, February 16.
