Chongqing-Siem Reap scheduled flights to start as of Dec. 11

News from Chongqing Airport is that it will launch scheduled flights between China's Chongqing and Cambodia's Siem Reap from December 11.

The scheduled flights will be operated by Angkor Airways Corporation. Using MD83, it’s a round-trip service operating once every five days. There will be 165 seats available in a flight.

The flights will arrive in Chongqing at 14:30 (Beijing Time), and depart from Chongqing at 15:30 (Beijing Time). The flight time will be about three and a half hours.

The round-trip ticket price is CNY 2,800. However, during the initial period of the service, passengers can buy tickets at a discount airfare of CNY 1,500. The airport construction and fuel surcharge fees are not included in the prices.

Siem Reap is situated 5.5 kilometers(3.4 miles)north of Angkor Ancient Relics which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The commencement of the flights will bring much convenience to Chongqing citizens to explore the mysterious Angkor.
