THE chairman of the Koh Puos Investment Group told Prime Minister Hun Sen Monday that construction of the bridge to the island will be completed within the next 14 months, according to a spokesman for Hun Sen.
Alexander Kiryushin asked Hun Sen to set up a commission to speed up the development project and asked him to change the name of the project from Koh Puos to Koh Morokot, said the spokesman, Eang Sophalleth. In response, Hun Sen appointed Sok Chenda, secretary general of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, to head the commission. He advised the company to prepare water pipes to bring water to the island.
