The TNT Express today revealed its project to expand the Asia Road Network to Cambodia.
Accordingly, the 6000 km long Asia Road Network will be lengthened to 7,500 km.
With its expansion, TNT Express secures its reliable role as the supplier of diversified interactive road express service products. The existing network stretches from Singapore over Thailand, Vietnam and China and then to Phnom Penh, and very soon Cambodia.
From Phnom Penh, the Asia Road Network, will connect Cambodia with Bangkok (Thailand) and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam).
The Asia Road Network is expected to make up for the limited cargo transport by both air and sea routes to and from Cambodia.
The TNT Asia executive director, Onno Boots, said that the expanded network will facilitate trade between Cambodia and other ASEAN countries, China and Europe. Morover, customers can save 30% as compared to the expense for air fares.
