Phnom Penh Crown's Cameroonian striker Jean-Roger Lappe Lappe (centre, behind post) thinks he's scored a late winner, but it was disallowed for offside. In an entertaining match that didn't reflect the scoreline Wednesday at Olympic Stadium, Cambodian Premier League teams Phnom Penh Crown and Khemara Keila played out a 0-0 draw. The game was shrouded in controversy, with a goal in the last minute by Lappe Lappe - who had been recalled from a two-week stint at Thai club Samut Songkhram to help rejuvinate the underachieving Crown team - dismissed by referee Kuong Ly as the linesman flagged for offside. "How?" demanded Crown manager Makara Be after the game. "Our player crossed the ball from near the corner flag. How can [Lappe Lappe] be offside? I asked the officials, but they couldn't explain." The manager also noted an earlier decision that didn't go Crown's way. "Our number nine [Chan Chhaya] was dribbling [in the area] when he was kicked from behind," said Makara Be. With the draw, Crown shuffle to 7 points and remain in seventh place, on equal pegging with fellow Samdech Hun Sen Cup finalists Naga Corp, both 5 points adrift of league leaders Preah Khan Reach at 12 points. However, there are still 13 rounds left in the season for Crown to find their way back into the top four and gain entry into the season's finaletournament, the Super 4, a playoff designed with the dominance of Crown in mind, according to FFC vice-president Khek Ravy.
