Bavaria came to Cambodia last weekend for Oktoberfest at Hotel Cambodiana. Hosted by the German Business Group Cambodia, the taps flowed liberally as guests enjoyed traditional German food, live folk music, and, of course, beer. The beer-hall revellers were served by beer girls in traditional German dresses to the sounds of polka music. The all-you-can-eat buffet featured German fare such as smoked ham, sausage and potatoes, and while Tiger beer was the official sponsor, there was no shortage of Jagermeister or the traditional German wheat beer Schneider-Weisse to go around.
