CAMBODIA, PHNOM PENH, Dec 7, 2010-The foreign Ministry of Cambodia said on Tuesday that 12 Thai journalists will visit Cambodia from 18 – 21 December, 2010.
Koy Khuong, spokesman for foreign ministry said that Thai government will send a group of 12 Thai journalists after Cambodian government sent its reporters to Thailand led by information minister.
Both sides restored the diplomatic ties after former Thai Prime Minister reigned from advisor to Cambodian government. Both countries is tension over border after Thai troops invaded area near Khmer Preah Vihear temple on July 2008.
So far, there is no detail information for Thai journalists visiting here and they will meet with Samdech PM Hun Sen or Foreign Minister Hor Nam Hong or not .
Both sides are trying to implement visa exemption this month and facilitate the trade and tourists.
Cambodia also plans to host the concert between Thai and Khmer singers.
Both border issues is back to normal situation and both sides need to measure it. And both sides also plan to open border gate at the temple.
