Fifteen houses were gutted early Wednesday by a fire that swept through Street 338 in Phnom Penh's Tuol Tompoung II commune. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, but the commune chief said he suspected it could have been the result of unattended inscense sticks, as Wednesday was a Buddhist holiday. He also blamed early morning traffic for delaying the arrival of fire trucks dispatched to put down the blaze.
