DREAMING LOVER'S HOUSE IN FLAMES
A 31-year-old man set his own house on fire because he was angry that his mother refused to let him marry the woman of his dreams, police in Kampot province said. Police said the man was in love with a woman in his village and wanted his mother to arrange a wedding party, but the mother said she didn’t have enough money to throw a large bash. The man set the house on fire, and neighbours had to rush to extinguish the blaze. The mother told investigators her son had demanded US$1,000 for the wedding party.
