Cambodia’s economic situation will at least improve by 2015, even if the kingdom does not achieve all of its development goals, Cambodian Minister for Planning Chhay Thon said on Monday at a Cambodian Millennium Development Goals (CDMG) seminar.
Sophie Barrans, vice officer of the UNDP for Cambodia, said at the event that “CMDGs can release Cambodia to reduce poverty.”
Chhay Thon said that the Government would strive to meet the deadline.
Barrans said that the priority is “improving of the CMDGs, such as human resource development.”
