Cambodia installs tech-system to manage national secret information

Cambodian government has installed the high-tech system for managing national secret information and recommended the local government agencies to send their reports to Interior Ministry for keeping those reports, the statement from Ministry of Interior said on Wednesday.

Ministry of Interior is strengthening the work of Department of Falsifying Literature Character and installed the system to guarantee the safety of national secret documents, Sar Kheng, deputy prime minister and minister of interior said in the statement.

Cambodia has now developed for all fields, especially in the areas of information technology, telecommunication which moved a step forward with providing advanced qualification and huge benefit for the society, but at the same time, it also provided much faults especially not being able to keep secrets for the work of the government or governmental ministries and local governmental agencies to provinces, he noted.

The interior ministry has seen the importance of the work of national security and secret that we aim at defending that reports without interfering from other hostilities, he said.

To make the work proceeding smoothly, the Interior Ministry would like to appeal all governmental agencies to provide all data of the report to the department for management, it said. "We hope all governmental agencies will cooperate with high responsibility for keeping national secret," Sar Kheng noted.
