SIEM REAP – Ministry of Commerce Undersecretary of State Dith Tina told a regional meeting on intellectual property rights (IPR) in Siem Reap on Monday that Cambodia “still has a long journey ahead” and “faces many challenges” in meeting its IPR commitments. He also called for a regional policy for IP registration, the strengthening of institutions to enforce rights, public awareness campaigns and human resource development at the 32nd meeting of the ASEAN Working Group on Intellectual Property Cooperation.
