Vietnam’s southern province of Binh Phuoc and Cambodia’s province Kampongcham held a groundbreaking ceremony on November 18 to build landmark No 78 on the Vietnam-Camboida border.
Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony, leaders of both provinces affirmed that the construction of the first landmark on the borderline of the two provinces will help complete the demarcation and landmark planting between the two provinces.
They added that it will also contribute to meeting people’s aspirations in building a peaceful, soliarity, sustainable and long-term border between Vietnam and Cambodia.
The landmark is expected to be completed within 60 days.
