Long An-Phnom Penh route opens


An international direct route between Long An – Phnom Penh was opened September 4, the Department of Transport in the Mekong delta province of Long An said.

The director of the department, Luu Dinh Khan, said Lim Vannessa L.V.S Import Export of Cambodia proposed the route and the Vietnam government approved.

The route is 300 kilometer long. The company will run two trips a week on Wednesday and Saturday, with each trip carrying up to 45 passengers.

Fares cost US$12 per person, including bridges and road tolls and transfer border crossings fees.
