This video explains the basic procedures before the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, more commonly referred to as the Khmer Rouge Tribunal. The first trial against former Khmer Rouge prison chief Kaing Guek Eav (alias Duch) ended on 27 Nov 2009. Fire other Khmer Rouge leaders are currently in detention while the cases against them are being investigated. These include former head of state Khieu Samphan, former Deputy Prime Minister Nuon Chea, former Foreign Minister Ieng Sary and former MInister for Social Action Ieng Thirith.
