Fighters compete for national Bokator titles

The Cambodian martial art of Bokator begins its 2010 National Championships today with matches held each day until Monday’s finals at the National Sports Complex wrestling hall. A total of 222 male and female participants hailing from 15 clubs nationwide will compete across four weight divisions, while competitors will also perform routines with or without weapons and in groups in 12 non-combative categories.

Solar power sales solid for first six months

AUSTRALIA-based Latronic Sunpower sold hundreds of power converters for use in solar powered systems during its first six months trading to the Kingdom, operations manager Brad Cowin said yesterday. The firm began distributing its products through a partnership with Comin Khmere Engineering Solutions to convert DC power generated from solar panels into AC electricity.
